Students and all,

Great news for Asian folks as Vonage has unveiled the world plan $25 per month which includes China, India, Malaysia etc!! Note that these are few of rare countries which had high calling rate from USA! This is new era for folks from these countries who can get Vonage at their home!

If Vonage keeps running this then this will affect all telecom and phone card companies which have developed business around this market. For example, RelianceIndiaCall, Tata Root, AirTel which are telecom giants from India. They have captured significant market in last 3-5 years. But now this Vonage offer will dramatically change the market! It will be no surprise if those companies will close their business or have to match to Vonage.

Of course not sure how long this will survive...Vonage should be able to profit from this otherwise they will go bankrupt.

Still few countries likes Pakistan, Philippines are still missing though..

Though it say unlimited, I think they may limit to 5000 per mo.

Well, here are the steps/rules I follow to get the bargain price on the college or school textbooks:

Avoid new books, always go for old one as long as they are cheaper.
First thing is to check collage library or local public libraries upfront to see if they have it.
Check with your college seniors if you can borrow/buy from them with lowest price.
Often College bookstore has low prices for used books.
Importantly you can check the lowest price of textbook in the market using price comparison web site like TextBookHunting.com. TextBookHunting.com – TextBook Price Comparison
Lastly craigslist classifieds may be another option.
Your price calculation must include time, tax & shipping cost.
Once you are doing using it, sell it immediately unless you need it further. May be you can make a profit on it!
